Not only are designs changing but new, independent manufacturers are coming along to challenge the massive global organisations. The net is also changing things for us all; Elan are the first to offer central distribution for their skis enabling them to reduce the price to you the consumer - also the net now is the primary source for information, not the brochures produced by the larger ski shops as it was in the past.
