Skis

Ski manufacturers have worked wonders over the last few years, their products are now much more fun, easier to use and learn on than even just 10 years ago. The most marked difference has to be the much wider skis we now use, giving much more confidence both on and off the piste, people are getting to levels in a week that used to take years!

Many of the skis in this range feature a bamboo wood core which gives excellent pop (rebound to us old schoolers) and is one of the most sustainable woods available due to its rapid growth.

We have taken a couple of skis from Salomon that use rocker construction which gives you the feeling of a short ski on piste but giving you extra surface area for off piste. I was sceptical about these until I used the Lord last season and I have to say I was impressed by both on and off piste performance.

This season we have carefully chosen a range of Head Skis, Liberty Skis, Salomon Skis and Movement Skis to suit different budgets and abilities.
