Ski Bindings
Ski Bindings do two things, hold your boots onto the ski and release the boots when the torque on your leg becomes dangerous. Why the difference in price then? A beginner wants the bindings to release in all situations, particularly in slow, low enery falls. At the other end of the spectrum a freeride skier wants the binding to absorb all kinds of shock as he/she takes on a steep coulior and not prerelease, achieving this and still releasing when needed makes the bindings alot more expensive to produce. Also as they use a much higher release setting the materials have to be a stronger and therefore more expensive.
Most of the bindings available through us are aimed at intermediate through to advanced skiers, if you would like advice on the best binding for you please call us.
